I did it with a real keyboard but the problem was that i didn’t have the option of a second language. Eventually, i solved it by refreshing again my windows through a boot CD and by choosing the English language for my installation.

I had the same issue yesterday, for Windows 8 first time installation, i chose a UK keyboard and did put a password using that. Once in Windows, i had to change to a US keyboard. Upon restart, the password was reject. Here is what i did:. Use your mouse to choose onscreen keyboard, on the right hand side botton corner of your screen, there will be the word ENG, click there, and you will be allowed to change to the keyboard of your choice.

Your password should now be accepted. Once in Windows, create another Administrative account that you will then use to reset your problematic password.
