Yes, i tried a lot of times my password and i opened the onscreen keyboard to check which languages i use as a keyboard layout. Then i realize that i had only the Greek as option. I did it with a real keyboard but the problem was that i didn’t have the option of a second language. Eventually, i solved it by refreshing again my windows through a boot CD and by choosing the English language for my installation.
I had the same issue yesterday, for Windows 8 first time installation, i chose a UK keyboard and did put a password using that. Once in Windows, i had to change to a US keyboard. Upon restart, the password was reject. Here is what i did:. Use your mouse to choose onscreen keyboard, on the right hand side botton corner of your screen, there will be the word ENG, click there, and you will be allowed to change to the keyboard of your choice.
Your password should now be accepted. Once in Windows, create another Administrative account that you will then use to reset your problematic password. Preferably, dont put a password to this temporary account, otherwise you will be back to 1. The point is that i cannot login at all to be able to add region to my keyboard. The problem come up after a settings refresh. In my case the login keyboard is in Greek languages and the microsoft’s passwords does not support such characters. So, i am not able to reset my pass to a compatible to the keyboard one.

In the future, if you are stuck on the wrong keyboard layout, you can switch it pressing left Ctrl and left Shift at the same time or clicking the Input Method button on the Home Screen.

I cannot change the keyboard language. The keyboard language is in Khmer. But the login password is in English. I’ve tried pressing all the keys on the keyboard to change the language but nothing is changing the language.
